We’re currently hiring Millwrights for an upcoming shutdown in Calgary, a city experiencing a 44% surge in housing starts as of February 2025, with ongoing industrial opportunities. Join us for this critical maintenance project!
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Millwrights to work on an upcoming shutdown in Calgary, focusing on the maintenance and upgrade of industrial equipment. The job involves specialized tasks to ensure operational efficiency, requiring precision and teamwork during a compressed schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Remove the current 3,000’ of Monoflex chain from the system.
- Reline all curves in place with new wear strips.
- Remove the main drive train and replace it with new shaft, sprockets, bearings, and drive chain.
- Reline all straights in place with new wear strips.
- Pull in new chain and balance the cooler to complete the upgrade.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment during 12-hour shifts.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Millwright certification (Apprentice to Red Seal).
- 2+ years of experience.
- Expertise in industrial maintenance, including chain removal, drive train replacement, and equipment balancing.
- Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts during the shutdown period.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Safety tickets (e.g., CSTS, WHMIS, Confined Space) are an asset.
