What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with production goals and company standards.
- Play a central role in the selection, implementation, and optimization of ERP software, with a focus on streamlining production planning, inventory control, and real-time reporting.
- Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational efficiency, track productivity, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of manufacturing.
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs and quality control procedures, ensuring equipment reliability and product consistency.
- Plan and manage production schedules, workflows, and labour allocation to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement data-driven process improvements to enhance throughput and reduce downtime.
- Lead, coach, and support the onboarding, training, and development of production team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations and internal policies, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Track and analyze operational performance through ERP-generated reports, providing clear insights and updates to senior leadership.

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in a production, operations, or manufacturing leadership role
- 5+ years as a tradesperson
- Experience using ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of sheet-metal or metal fabrication processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands
- Comfortable working on the shop floor, side-by-side with the team
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Able to lift up to 50kg and work flexible hours as needed
