ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will join a dynamic interprofessional team dedicated to delivering high-intensity, time-limited rehabilitation for clients living with complex neurological conditions. Our collaborative team includes Physiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nursing staff, Rehabilitation Assistants, Social Workers, Dietitians, and Spiritual Care Associates, with access to psychological support when needed. You will support clients (primarily those recovering from stroke, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other neurological diagnoses) through individualized assessment, evidence-based intervention, and collaborative care planning. Working closely with Home and Community Care Support Services, you will facilitate seamless transitions back into the community with appropriate ongoing supports, making a meaningful difference in each client’s recovery journey.
