Current Rate of Pay: Min $44.36 - Max  $61.80

Current Shifts: Weekdays, 8 hour shifts

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Clinical Director or Manager, the Resource Nurse oversees the day-to-day operations and coordinates the activities of the departments’ programs. The Resource Nurse is a front line leader who supports daily patient care, inter-professional care and patient flow. The Resource Nurse acts as a clinical resource for staff, facilitates communication among the interdisciplinary team and assists in decision-making in regards to bed utilization, equipment, staffing needs and patient assignments.

The Resource RN provides high quality, safe, effective and evidence-based care in partnership with patient and families, in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards and GGH’s mission, vision, values and policies.
