Accounts Payable Clerk

We are currently looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Accounts Payable Clerk at our Corporate Office in Moncton, NB .
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for ensuring all invoices and payments are processed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Manage weekly check runs
- Posting AP invoices
- New vendor setups and verification of vendor details
- Reviewing & reconciling monthly vendor statements
- Following up with admin on invoices that need posting
- Complete online payments
- Ensuring admin are posting invoices timely & accurately to receive all discounts
- Following up with vendors on missing invoiced or errors on statements
- Review and maintain record of petty cash reports from all locations
- Verifying pricing
- Gathering proper approval of invoices
- General administrative support
- Other duties as required
Requirements and Skills:
- Post-secondary education with an exposure to accounting and 1-2 years in a related position preferred
- Knowledge of systems to perform job functions (Equip and Microsoft Office)
- Relevant clerical experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently as well as with a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
