ABOUT THE ROLE
St. Joseph's Care Group (SJCG) is hiring BScN and Practical Nursing students to work as Personal Support Workers (PSWs) within Hogarth Riverview Manor (HRM) and Bethammi Nursing Home (BNH) for summer employment opportunities. The Personal Support Worker works under the close supervision of the Registered Nurse and Registered Practical Nurse, providing personal care to clients/residents and respecting their physical, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual needs and preferences.

FAST FACTS

Hogarth Riverview Manor is a 544-bed long-term care home with 17 resident home areas.

 

Bethammi Nursing Home is a a 112-bed long-term care home with 2 resident home areas.

 

Both long-term care homes provide a comfortable, familiar and home-like environment and specialize in Alzheimer's and dementia care. Each home fosters resident-focused care reflective of SJCG's core values of Care, Compassion, & Commitment.
