ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you’ll work as a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, helping clients reach their highest level of independence in self-care, work, and leisure activities. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and provide recommendations that promote function and independence. You’ll also act as a resource and consultant to colleagues, other disciplines, and community partners, supporting the best possible care for each client

The Mental Health Rehabilitation Team is looking for a motivated and collaborative Occupational Therapist to join our interprofessional team in supporting the mission of St. Joseph’s Care Group. In this role, you will use your knowledge and experience in functional assessments, as well as your understanding of the complexities of addictions, mental health concerns, and physical, cognitive, and intellectual co-morbidities. An appreciation of safety, mobility, accessibility, accountability, best practices, and program evaluation is essential. The Mental Health Rehabilitation Program offers holistic, interprofessional care that is client-centred, strength-based, and grounded in self-management principles.
