Northwest Plastics Ltd. is a custom manufacturer of rotationally moulded plastic products. Our company has more than 45 years experience with rotomoulding. We specialize in a broad range of industries including:
- Marine navigation,
- Transportation,
- Waste management,
- Aerospace,
- Aquaculture,

We require a Machine Operator/ Manufacturing Associate to support our manufacturing plant in Port Coquitlam.
This is a rotational shift:
- Shift 1 will be from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Shift 2 will be from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Responsibilities include:
- Reliable and hard working
- Team player
- Able to follow work instructions and contribute to process improvements
- Communication with shift supervisor and other shift operators on status of production
- Set up/clean up of different work areas:
- Tool and Jig set up
- PMS (housekeeping) done at the end of the shift
- Use of computers for entering production data
Requirements for the role:
- Physically fit (able to move objects that weight up to 45lbs)
- Able to stand for extended periods, bend, etc.
- Basic computer skills
Nice to have:
- Power tool/manual tool experience (I.E. drill, grinder, sander, wrenches, box cutter, etc.)
- Forklift Certificate and/or previous experience
- First Aid Certificate and/or previous experience
What we offer:
- $19.00/hr. based on qualifications, skills and applicable experiences
- Full-time

- Signing bonus: $500 after 6 months and $1000 after 12 months
