Tool Repair Technician

Overview

Our client is hiring a Tool Repair Technician for a full-time position in Etobicoke near the 427/401 intersection

This is a great opportunity, which provides great pay, benefits, continuous pay raises and has a great company culture.  This position would work in the testing laboratory repairing tools and equipment that are used in electrical applications.

OEM training will be provided to the new hire

Compensation: 

• Start at $20-$25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessment inspections, testing, repairs, and calibration of specified tools and devices including hydraulic tools, hoists, jumper cables, ground cables, and insulated live line tools
• Estimate and quote repairs for customers
• Source replacement parts
• Assemble tools and products from components to finished goods

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience repairing tools
• Experience and knowledge with the following electric, hydraulic, and gas-powered tools
• Bonus: High school diploma with post-secondary education in hydraulics, trade school, and/or OEM training
