OPERATIONS MGR: Job Description
The Manager of Operations oversees the overall Millwork Manufacturing process to ensure optimized production and quality control: to include but not limited to:
Daily Responsibilities:
- Strong and accurate communications to Customers and within Internal depts. on all projects
- Supervise and Direct the Engineering Dept., the Manufacturing Shop Mgr. and production within the shopto ensure efficiency and quality
- Oversee the planning and organization process to ensure availability of materials and labour resources for performance
- Monitor the activities of personnel for performance
- Motivate Personnel ( make recommendations to Sr. Management for rewards of achievements if and when deemed appropriate)
- Implement plans to improve and or maintain cost effectiveness and quality
- Conduct inspection of woodworking machinery and facilitate repairs or replacement when necessary
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety recommendations
Qualification:
- Must have a minimum 7 yrs experience in a manufacturing facility in the millwork Industry and or demonstrate the ability to adapt to one
