Enterprise Architect - IT Department Large Enterprise – Heavy Equipment Manufacturer

Regina, SK

We are currently seeking for our client, one of Canada’s largest companies in the heavy equipment Industry an Enterprise Architect who will be based at the head office in Regina, SK.  The Enterprise Architect is accountable to proactively lead technology transformation, framework development and standards to support all interface and application development.  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with IT leadership to establish development roadmap to support IT's Vision
• Drive standardization of application portfolio
• Create frameworks and standards for all interface and application software development
• Create secure interfaces to various cloud providers
• Define specifications/requirements for new projects as required
• Critical thinking and ability to break down complex processes
• Ability to explain technical procedures to senior management
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Other duties as required

Required Experience

• 10+ years in a large IT environment with a Degree or MBA in Computer Science
• TOGAF Certification
• Strong familiarity with all Microsoft Development Tools and Databases
• Knowledge of ETL tools and processes
• Azure or AWS Cloud experience will be considered an asset
