Position Summary:
Perform assigned proactive and reactive maintenance tasks on the facility and equipment. Ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
Accountabilities:
Work with production personnel, maintenance personnel and others to ensure
- the facility and equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- troubleshooting of breakdown situations is completed to direct the efficient completion of the repair
- repairs are completed thoroughly and to a high professional standard
- all work is performed in conformance with any related codes, guidelines or standards established by a manufacturer or regulating body
- new parts requisitions, parts used, hours spent, root cause analysis and history of work completed is entered into Infor EAM
- follow up work is completed
- continuous improvement is driven
TPM
- Act as a technical resources for any assigned TPM team. Replace any worn or deficient components discovered during the TPM event to ensure equipment is in ideal running condition. Assist in the installation of the TPM storyboards.
- Attend training on the TPM process
- Correctly complete the TPM activities. Note any repeated maintenance calls and review if any modifications to the TPM process could assist in preventing future failures.
PM
- Ensure that the proper PM activity is being performed to eliminate future failures.
- Complete the PM task thoroughly, on time, honestly and ensure any required changes are communicated back through the lead hand or supervisor.
- Complete the detail upon completion of the work activity.
- Generate and communicate any follow-up work activity to make appropriate repairs for any additional deficiencies discovered during the PM.
- Review the PM effectiveness by ensuring the frequency of each activity fits the needs of the machine.
