Construction Project Manager

We are a well-established and rapidly growing General Contractor, based in Burnaby, British Columbia with a reputation for great quality and great corporate values. Specializing in tenant improvements and dental / medical offices.

Since 2016, we have provided millions of litres of safe clean water for poverty-stricken areas of Nicaragua as part of the "One for One Water Project".


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from estimating to implementation
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
  • Ensure that projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes, and ensure the Quality Standards are met
  • Maintain and track billings, reports and projections, and implement trade awards and construction work within financial targets and constraints
  • Develop and maintain the construction schedule in conjunction with project team to meet milestones and completion dates


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction work or other related fields (carpenter, framer, site supervisor/superintendent)
  • Previous experience in interior renovations, including walls and ceiling construction
  • Familiarity with construction work software
  • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • AutoCAD or other design software an asset
  • Valid drivers license and own vehicle required
  • Must be able to provide proof of full vaccination for Covid-19
