Looking for temporary and part-time bakery production staff
About US:
A busy community bakery dedicated to providing the Semiahmoo Peninsula and surrounding areas with wholesome and flavorful bread's and pastries made in true artisan style, and to preserving and re-educating the public about the art of artisan bread making from within our destination bakery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To assist and support all areas of the bakery production as per the direction of the Bakery Manager
- To assist in the ordering of department supplies and control the inventory level of product
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance and operations
- Physical manual labour required
- To ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and health and safety of the department meets with Company standards
Skills & Qualifications:
- Self- motivated & quick learner
- Ability to follow recipes
- Ability to work independently and follow direction
- Must have excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced, process-driven, high-volume production environment
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 1-year food service/production experience,
- Fluent in English
- Good physical condition
Work hours:
Possibly working early mornings and busy weekends. Shifts may range from a start time of 5:30 am to a finish time of 3:00 pm.
