Job Summary

Our Sault Ste Marie, ON branch is currently seeking a Journeyman or 4th year Millwright to join our Services Team. We’re looking for knowledgeable, experienced, and highly motivated individuals who have great work ethic and enjoy working in a team-focused environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of mechanical equipment issues both in-shop and at customer sites
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
• Comprehension of conveyor dynamics and material handling fundamentals
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
• Assemble machinery prior to installation
• Start-up and testing
• Understand and read Engineered Blueprints and drawings
• Shutdown operations
• Rigging and handling
• Bearing, seals and packing
• Keep work area and equipment in a safe, clean and orderly condition
• Perform duties and operate equipment in a safe and satisfactory manner
• Complete all jobs in a timely manner
• Experience in bulk material handling

Job Requirements:

• Completion of 3rd term or possess a Journeyman Certificate in the Millwright trade
• 5+ years of experience in the industry
• Basic experience with rigging equipment
• Must be able to work with minimal direction
• Willingness to travel
• Willingness and ability to work overtime and/or irregular hours
• Willingness and ability to work in remote locations
