Heavy Duty Mechanic - Field Service

Calgary, AB

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Heavy Duty Mechanic – Field Service based out of our facility in Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities:

• Startup of new equipment at client locations
• Inspection, diagnosis and repair of equipment at client locations
• Communicate with customers to define the scope of repairs.
• Develop and maintaining cooperative, customer service-focused relationship with internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment certificate required
• Technical knowledge in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical Systems.
• Working knowledge of drilling equipment and transportation vehicles an asset.
• Self-motivated, fast learner and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working in the shop as well as in the field
• Ability to work on call and overtime when required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Valid Driver’s license (abstract required)
• Valid Passport – Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally without restrictions.
• Safety Training an asset but will train as required.
