Shipper / Receiver

Located in beautiful British Columbia. We are a premier supplier of professionally engineered and manufactured roof truss and floor support systems. Our modern manufacturing facilities have the capacity and means to produce technically advanced truss and floor systems for residential, farm and commercial structures.  We are currently looking for a Shipper Receiver to join our team in Kelowna.

This is a full time position located in Kelowna, BC
Salary: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

• Overtime Pay
• Bonus Pay

Duties Include:

• Yard organization
• Restocking product appropriately and timely
• Put away product that is off loaded
• Inventory counts
• Ensure packages are banded and put together properly
• Ensure packages are stenciled with company logo
• Ensure packages have all required product material before shipping &  paperwork is complete 
• Operating forklift safely in various situations
• Loading and unloading all materials required
• Interact with customers appropriately: loading/unloading
• Sign & date receiving shipments.
• Inspect Product for damage and confirm quantities match manifest.
• All damaged and discrepancies to be noted on receiving paperwork with delivery driver’s name and signature
• Recording daily packages shipped/paperwork
• Entering new inventory received

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift certification
• Commitment to working safely and creating a safe work space
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Having OFA Level 1 or 3 First Aid considered a Strong asset
• Shipping / Receiving experience  1 year 
• English (required)
• Drivers License (Class 5 required)
• Class 1  license an asset, but not required
