Scottish Baker

We are a small Scottish Bakery, located in North Mississauga. Currently, we are in search of a full-time baker to join our family-oriented team.

Responsibilities

• Crafting and preparing baked products
• Ability to create baked goods, Scottish rolls, meat pies, sausage rolls and more
• Ensuring the bakery is stocked and clean
• Keeping records of the bakery inventory & placing orders with suppliers accordingly
• Handle various responsibilities, with the goal of meeting our customers expectations

Qualifications

• Ability to work under deadlines and meet the quality expectations of our clients
• Be able to manage time well
• 3-5 years of baking experience
• Excellent knowledge of general baking principles and understanding a wide variety of recipes. Knowledge of English, Scottish/Irish recipes is a definite asset.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills to ensure that the day-to-day operations in the bakery move smoothly

Other Job Details

• Hours: Flexible schedule
• Days: Monday – Friday and partial Saturdays
• Salary: $60,000 per year
• Location: North Mississauga
• Will provide site specific training
