Role Overview:

We are hiring an Inside Sales Representative to promote and sell spare parts and equipment upgrades for machinery used in the wood products industry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning how things work and possesses strong mechanical aptitude. 

Responsibilities:

• Taking customer orders and actively selling spare parts, machine retrofits and service work over the telephone and email.
• Create, process, and track RMAs
• Preparing quotations for spare parts, including machine retrofit packages.
• Processing orders in the Epicor ERP system, ensuring that all details of the order are correct and matching the customer’s purchase order
• Producing written confirmation of purchase orders and order acknowledgements.
• Expediting customer orders.
• Participate in sales forecasting activities.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and highly organized
• Strong customer service skills
• Mechanical aptitude – enjoy learning how things work
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Strong communications skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience working in modern ERP and CRM software is considered an asset
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and bills of material is considered an asset
• Some travel may be required, Candidates must be able to travel internationally
