Job Description:

• This position provides trades coverage to sawmills in the Prince George region
• Install and maintain sawmill equipment
• Provide routine and regular preventative maintenance on industrial equipment
• Practice safe rigging and slinging
• Weld and fabricate as needed
• Work cooperatively with co-workers
• Follow all safe work practices and safe job procedures

Job Requirements:

• Red Seal Industrial Mechanic certification
• 3rd and 4th year apprentices may be considered and are invited to apply
• Welding experience is considered an asset
• Preference for a minimum 2 years experience working in sawmills as a journeyman millwright
• Valid Class 5 drivers license 
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must provide personal tooling and secure tool box

• Fulltime, Graveyards, 8 hour shifts, Monday- Friday
