CNC Operator/Programmer

Our Yarrow, BC location is currently hiring for an experienced CNC Operator. The role is responsible for operating a CNC wood router machine, and other woodworking equipment to manufacture doors and millwork.

CNC experience preferred, but we are willing to train applicants with experience in woodworking.

This position is Monday to Thursday, from 3:00pm to 1:30am. The hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Safely use CNC wood router machine
• Operate other woodworking equipment
• Keep work area clean and tidy
• Additional training is provided to enhance job skills
• Cross-training available for other production roles

Qualifications:

• Prior CNC experience is preferred
• Experience with a wood router CNC machine is preferred
• Carpentry/woodworking experience is preferred
• Able to read basic shop drawings
• Mathematical aptitude and understanding of imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch
• Physical ability to safety lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand and / or be on your feet for an entire shift
