Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Shipper/Receiver. Reporting directly to the Shop Foreman, the successful candidate will be responsible for outgoing and incoming material at our facility on Mtichell Island in Richmond, BC.

The shift will be from Monday to Friday from 07:00 - 15:00 / 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, statutory holidays exempt. Overtime may be required as needed to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal record-keeping system.
• Operation of a forklift and/or crane to load, unload, transport and store goods.
• Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks, etc.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
• Preparing and completing the required documents such as waybills and packing slips.
• Verifying and packing goods to be shipped, and prepare identifying information.
• Coordinating with Administrator(s), Production Manager, Shop Foreman, and necessary production staff to ensure ship dates are met.
• Ability to use Outlook and Microsoft Teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience preferred but not necessary.
• Licensed Forklift Operator preferred but not necessary.
• Licensed Crane Operator preferred but not necessary. Experience is a must.
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
