Tapered Insulation Estimator
The Tapered Insulation Estimator is responsible for the estimating of tapered insulation projects, providing on-site support, as well as servicing all professionals in the roofing industry.
We are looking for self-sufficient, motivated Tapered Insulation Estimator for our Lynnwood location who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates by analyzing proposals, specifications, drawings, and related documents
- Identify materials, labour, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, drawings and related documents
- Use Taper-plus and AutoCAD to produce detailed layouts for accurate, cost effective estimates
- Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Present prepared quotations by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
- Work within deadlines provided by customers, architects, consultants
- Maintain excellent relationships with sales staff and customers
- Use AutoCAD to produce detailed shop drawings and counts for production staff
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements
- Construction, civil, or architectural technician/technologist degree or diploma
- 2+ years of experience in project estimating
- 2+ years of experience in the roofing industry
- Self-motivated
- Must be well organized and able to multi-task
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in which priorities are constantly changing
- Ability to easily visualize the 3-dimensional concept of plans and details
- Ability to climb ladders or staging to access rooftops
- Valid drivers’ license and vehicle
