Tapered Insulation Estimator

The Tapered Insulation Estimator is responsible for the estimating of tapered insulation projects, providing on-site support, as well as servicing all professionals in the roofing industry.

We are looking for self-sufficient, motivated Tapered Insulation Estimator for our Lynnwood location who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates by analyzing proposals, specifications, drawings, and related documents
• Identify materials, labour, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, drawings and related documents
• Use Taper-plus and AutoCAD to produce detailed layouts for accurate, cost effective estimates
• Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Present prepared quotations by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
• Work within deadlines provided by customers, architects, consultants
• Maintain excellent relationships with sales staff and customers
• Use AutoCAD to produce detailed shop drawings and counts for production staff
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements

• Construction, civil, or architectural technician/technologist degree or diploma
• 2+ years of experience in project estimating
• 2+ years of experience in the roofing industry
• Self-motivated
• Must be well organized and able to multi-task
• Ability to work within a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in which priorities are constantly changing
• Ability to easily visualize the 3-dimensional concept of plans and details
• Ability to climb ladders or staging to access rooftops
• Valid drivers’ license and vehicle
