Skilled Carpenter / Construction worker

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years carpentry & construction experience with strong skills in drywall repairs, rough carpentry framing or finishing, and other construction tasks
• Direct experience in major renovations and additions
• Proficiency in carpentry across a broad range of construction tasks such as installing & finishing drywall, rough-framing, finish carpentry, and more
• Strength & stamina
• Comfortable & adept at learning new technology
• Ability to follow blueprints and elevation drawings & schedules
• Able to handle pressure while maintaining a high level of quality
• A valid driver's license & own transportation
• Own cell phone and basic construction & carpentry tools
• Have a keen eye for detail
• You like working as part of a fast-paced team
• You take pride in the work you and your company does

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with Ontario Ministry of Labour & WSIB.
• Working in a crew of 2-3 other carpenters on high-end residential projects
• Taking a leadership role on site under the guidance of the Site Supervisor
• Completing a diverse range of daily tasks required for renovations, including:
  • Demolition
  • Structural framing
  • Window and door installation
  • Insulation
  • Trim carpentry
  • Exterior finishing
• Keeping tools, equipment, job sites, and vehicles organized and clean
