Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee and manage the launch of a cutting-edge automotive technology-based B2C initiative through the upcoming initial product launch. This initiative aims to revolutionize the automotive rental experience by combining newly developed technology with the established 30+ year success of Bristol Car & Truck Rentals.

The Project Manager will serve as the lead point person with overall oversight of the project. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams across the organization, ensure timely delivery of project milestones, and align deliverables with organizational objectives. This is a 12-month contract position with the potential for full-time employment should the initiative prove successful.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the new technology initiative and take ownership of the project.

· Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet objectives.

· Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment and progress. Regularly meet with internal team members to provide guidance and ensure deliverables are met.

· Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and resolve project issues as they arise.

· Monitor and report on project performance to executive leadership. Lead and chair project meetings.

· Review and assess input from multiple internal departments to ensure the end product is cohesive and functional, and make recommendations for improvements as necessary.

· Oversee the development and implementation of the product launch strategy. Provide input on marketing of the product, including design and creatives.

· Ensure all issues that arise throughout product launch are addressed in a timely manner.

Qualifications

· Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).

· Post-secondary diploma in related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience leading projects from conception to launch.

· Proven ability to manage B2C technology-focused initiatives.

· The successful candidate is a self-starter who is proactive in addressing issues and will champion the initiative.

· Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

· Experience in vehicle rental industry is an asset.

Contract Details

· Duration: 12 months, with the possibility of full-time employment based on the success of the initiative.

· Location: Head Office – 15 Regan Rd, Brampton, Ontario

· Compensation: Equivalent of $70,000 to $80,000 annual (12 month contract), commensurate with experience.
