POSITION: ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT IV, ACTT, Crisis, PEPP, Central Intake, HP Seniors Mental Health, Listowel Mental Health
(Primarily located in Stratford with occasional travel throughout Huron and Perth Counties)
Temporary Full-Time Position
(Shifts: 8 hour days, Monday-Friday)

POSITION SUMMARY: The Administrative Support IV, is responsible for providing administrative duties as required to ensure the proper flow of communication among team members and clients and to assist in the efficient service delivery of all community Mental Health Programs. Working together with the staff of Alexandra Marine General Hospital and Listowel Memorial Hospital, the staff is responsible for all duties to office management to provide community based, district mental health services to residents of Huron and Perth Counties.

REPORTS TO: Manager, Outpatient Mental Health

DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible

SALARY: $24.66 to $26.13 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
-Minimum 2 year Medical Office Administration Diploma.

Experience:
- 1-2 years recent relevant administrative support experience
- Recent familiarity with hospital- and community-based mental health programs in Huron and Perth counties preferred.

Abilities:
- Flexible and self-directed with well-developed time management and organizational skills.
- Well developed and demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with the public and interagency groups in a courteous, efficient manner.
- Excellent computer skills: proficient in word processing, spread sheet, and graphic software packages.
- Exposure to Meditech system preferred.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Patient registration experience.
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.
